Funny People’s Film within a Film Clip – Redo

In the upcoming film Funny people features Adam Sandler as a comedy film actor who is very successful, but finds out he is dying. As part of the setup, we get a peek at the films he was in, and today Justin Long put up a clip of a “film within the film” that looks to be taking a shot at some Little Man.

I wonder if any of these fictional “films within the film” would gain enough popularity to make them want to create them.

The fake trailers found between the double bill Grindhouse films spawned Machete, so it is in the realm of possibility. However in this movie, part of the premise is that he gets famous doing really bad comedy films that somehow find success, so they might be deliberatly bad.

Which might make them funnier.
